Wednesday, May 12.  7 p.m.  Fine Arts Night – Stanley High School Speech Class Competition Entries.

June Art Exhibit. Barbara Kalenze Kraft – Local Americana Artist.  “From Cowboy to Contemporary.”

Friday, June 4.  7 p.m.  “The Tumbleweeds.” Powers Lake Ladies in Song. Variety of vocals.

Saturday, June 12.  7 p.m.  Dakota Kid now from Arizona.  Country, Patriotic, Gospel vocals.

Saturday, June 19.  7 p.m.   Dakota Drifters.  Vocals with bass guitar and Carl’s Chet Atkins style music on his fabulous Gretchen guitar.

Friday, June 25.  7 p.m.  Clyde Bauman as Clyde Bauman?? This entertainer goes serious as he sits at the grand piano and thrills the audience with a variety of music from the 60s to gospel vocals.

July

Friday, July 2.  7 p.m.  “American History Alive.” Dr. Perry Hornbacher, professor of history, Bismarck State College, on Theodore Roosevelt.

Saturday to Sunday, July 3 and 4. “Sculpture Becomes Storytelling.” Artist, Rich Solberg, tells stories with his sculpture creations.  Features blacksmithing techniques.  Exhibit Open House: July 3 & 4 from 2-4 p.m.  Join the artist for coffee and donuts.

Saturday, July 10.  2 p.m.  “Preserving your Family Collections and Heirlooms.”  The ND Heritage Center, Emily Kubischta, Curator.  Presentation and display methods to ensure important family documents and antiques are preserved.

Saturday, July 17.  2 p.m.  Flower Show in conjunction with the Mountrail Garden Club.

Sunday, July 25.  3 p.m.  Marlene & Friends.  Fun, variety with a classical touch, the Sibyl Men and Nicole Biwer, vocalist, plus an inspiring ‘sing along’ followed by a potluck.
 

August 

August 2-5.  Children’s Theater Day Camp.  Presented by the Minot Mouse River Players.  Information and registration: (701) 628-2670.

Saturday, August 14.  7 p.m.  The Replacements.  Beautiful harmony on vocals from over the eras, and also some dance tunes.

Saturday, August 21.  7 p.m.  Merrill Piepkorn Band.  Great vocals and instrumentals.  Country and rock/dance music.

Sunday, August 22.  3 p.m.  Merrill’s Band.  A full gospel show including local talent.
