The Foundation for Life Enrichment, Inc., is a local non-profit organization (501c3) dedicated to renovating the historic First Presbyterian Church in Stanley, North Dakota, and maintaining it as a 'life enrichment' hub known as the Sibyl Center for Life Enrichment.

Completed in 1928, the structure is a treasure that will be protected in perpetuity and used for the benefit of the greater Stanley community. The Tudor-style building stands as testimony to the quality craftsmanship of the time, a one-of-a-kind example of prairie church architecture.
Its adaptive reuse honors the memory of Sibyl MacDonald who brought the joys of music to hundreds of Stanley's young people during her long piano-teaching career.
The beautiful stained glass windows, the elegant supports and grand openness represent the dignity and beauty appreciated by its Presbyterian founders. Preservation North Dakota aptly calls it an "architectural gem."
Fortunately, the building was well-constructed and well-maintained. As an older structure, it will require regular upkeep, repair and general maintenance in order to survive and serve its purpose as a life enrichment center into the future.
Generous contributions from within and outside the community have financed essential structural improvements and furnishings. Donations are targeted towards repairs, upkeep and equipment. Continuing projects include:
- Exterior landscaping, lighting, front door hardware.
- Interior lower-level renovations (meeting rooms and dining room), kitchen and bathroom renovations, floor refinishing, carpet replacement, dressing room furnishing, electrical upgrade.

Mission: The Foundation for Life Enrichment is organized exclusively for educational and charitable purposes, more specifically to enrich the quality of life in Stanley, ND and surrounding communities by encouraging the quest for learning, aesthetics, youth development and the arts. The specific goal of the foundation is the renovation of the former Presbyterian Church in Stanley, renamed the Sibyl Center for Life Enrichment, which was donated to the foundation by the City of Stanley. When the refurbishment has been completed, the Sibyl Center will serve as a major focal point for the arts in western North Dakota.
