The Land of Lakes Choirboys has a long history of quality music, travel and the ability to build young men of character and honor. Since the Choir's inception in 1976 it has grown from 18 members to over 100 in six different choir groups and is recognized as a truly world-class boy choir. The Nordic Choir, appearing June 14 at the Sibyl Center, is the National Touring Choir. This choir, for experienced choristers ages 8-14, is trained thoroughly and professionally. Music critics from around the world rave about the performances of the Land of Lakes Choirboys. Perhaps the most talked-about aspects of the choir are its pure and hauntingly beautiful sound, its power and flawless intonation. Back home in Minnesota the boys continue to awe and inspire audiences with their unique sound and vast repertoire ranging from the Baroque to modern-day hits. "It is completely without doubt that the Land of Lakes Choirboys from Minnesota counts as one of the best boys' choirs in the world. Not only can they be measured with their European colleagues, but they appear to overtrump them..."
