Holiday Art Extravaganza

11 am - 9 pm

Display of regional artists’ works, main floor.

11 am -1 pm
Children’s art activity, lower level (ages 2 and up).
6-9 pm
Social with light refreshments, wine samples, cash bar and music by Renaissance Brass. Patrons must be 21 to attend; suggested donation of $5.

Co-chairs: Barb Kalenze Kraft of Berthold and John Spitzer, Stanley. Kraft is also a featured artist and Spitzer a featured musician in Renaissance Brass.  The Taube Museum of Art’s director, Nancy Walter Brown, Minot, will orchestrate the children’s activity with help from volunteers.

Participating artists:  Arnold Addicott, Ellena Anderson, Judy Bell, Nancy Walter Brown, Susan Davy, Joel Dennis, Kalenze Kraft, Andy Knudson, Dave Kulczyk, Richard Muhlbradt, Pat Van Hall.

Sponsors:  Stanley Food Pride, Two Way Steakhouse and Lounge, Scandia American Bank, all Stanley, and the Lillian and Coleman Taube Museum of Art of Minot.

Vocalist Kate Olson and jazz pianist Will Bonness offer a varied program of classical and musical theater. Since graduating from St. Olaf College, Kate has been teaching and performing in Germany. Will graduated this spring with a jazz  degree from the University of Manitoba and is active as a soloist in the Winnipeg area. Kate and Will last performed at the Sibyl Center in 2006.
